BULLYING
Definition
Bullying is one of the most serious problems
facing children and teenagers today. It can be defined as aggressive behavior
that involves a real power imbalance and can range from inappropriate comments
to physical violence.
Types of bullying:
Ø Cyber bullying: Cyber
bullying came about as children of all ages grew up surrounded by the internet,
son or group of people.
Ø Verbal bullying: It is when one child calls another a mean
nickname or uses a rude word to describe that child.
Ø Physical bullying: It includes any type of physical action that
one child takes against another.
Ø Social bullying: Social bullying is a type of bullying done to
damage other’s reputation and their good relations.

They don’t manage their temper

They are physically strong
Ø
They don’t feel with other’s/aren’t sympathetic with
anyone’s needs.

They blame others for their aggressive behaviors

They appreciate brutality and enjoy it

They are motivated by power and like to dominate
others
Causes
- The absence of a perfect family.
- Lack of parent's role in sitting limits for children's misbehavior.
- Community rewards others' inappropriate behaviors by giving them popularity.
- Some kids feel powerless in their lives so they use bullying to prove their presence.
- Some kids can't stop themselves from hurting others .
Five tips which can help teachers prevent bullying:
- know your school policies on bullying.
- Treat students and others with warmth and respect.
- Conduct classroom activities around bullying
- Discuss bullying with colleagues.
I love this article and i think more awareness campaign should be done at schools so people can really know this very harmful effects does to one's feelings and personality.
